DTA distributes food stamps, TAFDC, EAEDC, emergency assistance and referrals.
The DTA office has a satellite office in Athol at First Call for Help, 423 Main Street. The satellite office is staffed Wednesdays from 9:00-5:00 pm with a clerk who is able to answer questions, hand out paperwork/applications & schedule appointments.

What they do: Child Care Outlook is the resource and referral agency for Franklin County, Hampshire County, and the North Quabbin region. Child Care Outlook helps parents find quality child care and helps eligible parents pay for child care expenses. All services are free.
Child Care Outlook has an extensive database with information on child care providers such as cost, hours, curriculum, available openings, and provider education. We can also help with parenting information! This referral service is free, and you can use it as many times as you need. All the information you provide is confidential and will not be shared. We hope to give you the tools to make an informed decision about what child care provider to use, and we do not provide recommendations for providers in our database.
Child Care Outlook also has some funding available to help parents pay for child care.
